Before Phoenix hit the track or our wind tunnel took shape, Team Tempest was already in motion—on a mission that had nothing to do with speed, and everything to do with purpose. In collaboration with I Am Gurgaon, a leading environmental NGO, we launched our Sustainability Drive focused on rewilding urban spaces and learning the value of environmental stewardship firsthand.
This wasn’t a one-day event; it was a movement. Together, we participated in a large-scale tree plantation effort, helping revive native biodiversity in degraded areas of the city. It was muddy, it was hands-on, and it was unforgettable. Every sapling we planted represented more than carbon offset—it stood for growth, responsibility, and action taken outside the classroom and workshop.
But we didn’t stop there. We turned the experience into a full-circle learning opportunity, documenting the process and engaging with our community through social media to spread awareness about the importance of green cover and sustainable city planning. It was a reminder that innovation doesn’t always mean machines and code—sometimes, it’s about reconnecting with nature and giving back.
This drive laid the foundation for our broader sustainability goals: integrating eco-conscious thinking into our future engineering projects, exploring e-waste in robotics, and designing STEM outreach programs that reflect our commitment to both technology and the planet.
The race toward a greener future is long—and we’re just getting started.

Wow that is so cool
